b) Describe four steps of women’s empowerment planning cycle.

4. a) Highlight five issues addressed by social work management employers in managing gender equality.
b) Evaluate five factors to consider in order to develop gender perspective in economic development.

SECTION B: COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
Answer at least TWO questions from this section.

5. (a) Explain six benefits that may accrue to the community from its participation in community development activities. (12 marks)
b) Highlight the role of a leader in community participation.

6. a) Evaluate the duties of the Executive Management Committee in community development activities. (10 marks)

7. a) Analyse the main believers of Normative Theory of leadership regarding leadership styles. (10 marks)
b) Analyse five suggestions that may be put in use in managing conflicts within and among community members.

8. a) Describe six main causes of community conflicts in community development. (12 marks)
b) Explain four benefits that may accrue to the community from planning its activities. (8 marks)
